http://palmos.combee.net/blog/OpeningFilesontheLifeDriv.html lends me to think that even with the Files app copied unto another Palm, the FileBrowser API calls would not work because it's not part of the OS on devices other than the T5 and LifeDrive; let's hope for an upgrade or patch.
