This won't help if your goal is to install it on a real device. To make a real device sync a file to a card, you need to add some pref records or something to register it. This same method will work on a simulator, btw.
If you don't want to do the programming, you could use someone else's app that will do it. Resco Explorer can do it, I believe. Sorry if that makes no sense. I don't exactly understand what you're doing.
