The least you would have to do is to add a stream header (16 bytes?) to turn 
your PDF file into a stream header. But then the app you have on the Palm to 
open that PDF file would probably fail because it does not expect this header.

By "them" you mean the company that writes the PDF reader? Forget about that 
and just install your plain PDF file on the SD card. But like I wrote you 
earlier, you don't even need a HotSync to copy a file to a SD card. Just a card 
slot and a PC will do...
