Thanks to all that responded.

I cleaned the contacts and was able to sync immediately (good news). The
bad news is that this worked for a couple of days but stopped working
again yesterday. I've cleaned the contacts again and no luck this time.
My Vx is not able to sync with my iMac anymore either. I was connecting
it to the iMac with the HotSync cable from the travel pack and the Palm
serial to usb adapter. I'm starting to think that this is really a Vx
hardware problem, time to contact Palm support again. Too bad, only had
the Vx for a few months... when I think that my Professional from '97
still works great it makes me wonder about the Vx.
