This is not a develper question but it is stopping me from developing :-) I thought someone might have a bright idea since talking 3 times on the phone today with Palm Support hasnt yielded any answers.
I HotSync 3 Palms on my NT machine - a Professional, IIIc and Vx. They are all hooked up through a switch box. A week ago my Vx stopped syncing, just started getting "Connection lost" messages. I've gone through several hard resets and today I've just realised that if I set the speed to 9600 then the Vx will sync, however anything above that will cause it to fail with the same error message (Connection lost). The Professional and IIIc are still happily syncing "as fast as possible". When I press the HotSync button on the craddle, the Vx gets into sync mode and the HotSync progress dialog appears. But the message on the dialog remains at "Connecting with Handheld" and eventually the Vx times out. Any ideas? Why would the Vx suddenly refuse to sync above 9600? Any ideas appreciated Chris -- For information on using the ACCESS Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.access-company.com/developers/forums/
