I am debugging some serial code on POSE, although I have seen this problem
before with other code , and I get a dialogue box appear with a red and
white warning/error X appear, with 3 unprintable characters, usually ||E or
||| or something equally useless. What does this mean ??? Has my application
gone wrong with some unknown (to me) bug, or has something else gone wrong
and my application is fine ????
