For now, it seems to me that people who buy WinCE machines are either
feeling safer because of the "Windows, sweet Windows" and "Word/Excel/IE in
your pocket" tags (this is especially true for professionals and reminds me
of the Big Blue time, 20 years ago), or consider the plenty of "exciting"
(read : not-so-useful) things WinCE machines bring to them, or basically
compare megabytes and megahertz figures and infer that the highest is the
best.

I know lots of Palm users who are really satisfied with their machine, even
if they regret it does not have (yet) some features. I don't know many WinCE
users, but those I know don't seem really happy with their machine, after a
while.

It might change, but currently IMHO there is no clear indication that the
other market you are talking about is so promising.
