The O'Reilly book did have some confusing aspects, but it's
main drawback at this time is that it is extremely out of date
re. PalmOS versions. In general, however, I still recommend
it as a general introduction to Palm Programming.

When I wanted to buy a supplement to the O'Reilly book I
looked at the SAMS and the "For Dummies" book, and
decided for the "For Dummies". This evaluation was based
on a relatively brief examination at the bookstore ... but the
deciding factor was trying to look up a specific issue in the
index (sorry I forget now what it was). The "For Dummies"
book had a good discussion on it, but it did not appear in
the index of SAMS book at all.
