Thank you. I guess I need the FORCEINTERACTION to make my table receive
focus.

FORCEINTERACTION is for tables and lists, IIRC - when the navigation
focus is changed to the item, up and down keys change which item is
selected, not whether focus changes to the next or previous object.
The other keywords are not necessary for most applications.
