I was able to make the Error going away by copying the folder containing the project,
and in the new folder, deleting everything except the source and resource files, and
recompiling. That did the trick. Of course, copying the folder shouldn't have done
anything, that was just for backup purposes.
It should be noted that I too, was adding bitmaps to the resource file, and no bitmap
families. Is this bitmap family concept a holdover from the Mac (thank goodness OS X
is coming soon..)? I also couldn't find any reference to Bitmap Families in the
Constructor for Palm OS PDF document included with CW R6. Anyone know of good
resources on the web to read about this?

While I was recently converting an application I had developed using GCC to
CW 6.0, I got the error you are talking about.
First I narrowed the problem down to something to do with the bitmaps I was
trying to add to the app. For some reason the Bitmap Family window kept
popping up whenever I tried to create a new graphic. Just to try to make CW
happy, I went ahead and created a dang Bitmap Family object without
understanding the concept behind it. Once I deleted the bitmap family
object the dmErrCorruptDatabase went away. At least I think that's what made
the error go away.

Subject: Corrupt Database
Hi,
The app i'm developing when I load it into the POSE (via CW) if first says,
in CW (using the debug option), "failed to connect to remote". After that,
when I try to manually load it into the Palm I get, "Could not install the
Palm OS file "file.prc" because Palm OS error 0x0209 (dmErrCorruptDatabase)
occurred.
Immediately before doing this, I was in constructor adding some bitmaps to a
form. AFAIK, that should not be causing this. We even tried recompiling the
source on another computer and the same error occurred. Any ideas? Thanks in
advance.
