Bitmap Families were added with the 3.5 SDK, and allow you to do color. The
Constructor documentation on the CD is for the version of Constructor that
came on the CD which did not support bitmap families. You can download the
latest documentation from Palm's website at
http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/docs/. The updated Constructor for PalmOS
document that is in that download does discuss bitmap families.
