You can't compare.
Apple was really planning on Web applications only, and that was how
they marke=
twd there product.
They had no need for developers, and they only released the SDK
after it was ha=
cked.
Given the time it takes to prepare this stuff, one should presume
that Apple always intended there to be an SDK, but it wasn't ready on
product launch.
