I've had problems with some bitmaps, too, especially big ones that fill
up about half of the screen. If I edit it in Paint, change it to black
and white, copy it into a bitmap edit window in Constructor, then try
to mess with it (change the bitmap size or something), Constructor will
crash almost every time. After I lost my work once or twice, I wised
up and saved everything before I began doing such operations.
