That fits a SPT1700 device so no good for a Palm III.
You know, the one big mistake I think various
Palm licencees (including Palm themselves) have
made is the proliferation of diffrent serial
connections!. Why on earth don't we have a
standard so that all add-ons fit all PalmOS devices?!
