A few questions that have me stumped. First, why would an array change by
itself? I have an byte array called packet declared as Byte packet[]
Stepping through my code using the CW debugger, packet changes from "\p" to
"Saving spool fiel / Entry not in queue " I am not touching the packet
array at all. There is nothing in the source code that would appear to give
this error. It happens in the following code
 m_srcAddress = getSrcAddress( temp );

 setAddresses( m_srcAddress, address );
 /*illegal adress occurs between these two lines
  *packet changes from "/p" to "saving spool file/entry not in queue"
  */
 setLen( lenData );
 setId( getS_Sn() );
As noted in my comment, it happens between my setAddresses and setLen
function calls. Neither function uses the packet array. Any ideas? It
happens whether or not i have the setLen call. Stepping through the
debugger using the mixed code option shows that packet changes at the first
line of code after the setAddresses call.
The other question deals with a blank error message that occurs. Debugging
the same code, i get a blank error message. Not from the emulator, but from
Code Warrior. The emulator just transfers control to the debugger which
displays a blank error box. Any ideas what would call this? Once again, it
appears to be something in the assembly code because it occurs when a
function ends.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
