It's already been discussed the peculiar way winScreenModeSet wporks,
but just to recap:
========================
=> Let's say I want 16 gray shades on a Palm IIIc.  If I request a
graphics mode of 4 bit depth and no color, I'm told it's not supported.
If I request 4-bits and COLOR, then I get 16 gray scales.

=> In fact, the default palette for bit depths < 256 is the gray
palette.

So what the bColor paramter REALLY means in WinScreenMode is not "do I
want a color mode", but rather "am I running on a Palm with color
abilities?"

And of course, in future palms that have 24-bit palettes, you'll have to
make your own 8-bit gray scale.
===========================
All this is fine once you catch it, but here's my big question:

=> Will WinScreenMode work this way in future OS versions?
=> Will the default palettes remain gray scale for < 256 colors?

Thanks!
- Jeff
