Howdy All,
I am undertaking a project which requires me to utilize the Ir.
port directly. I am simply transferring ascii data to the palm through
the Ir. Port. I am not, and can not, use IrComm. I use the new serial
manager, passing it the logical Ir. Port address and SrmReceive to obtain
th eascii data being sent from another pilot. The sending pilot is also
utilizing the Ir. port directly.
Occasionally I run into a Serial Line Error, a serErrorLineErr.
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what this error really is. Are the
bits not lining up properly (IE: it doesn't find the stop bit where it it
looking for it, etc.)? The port is moded for 9600, 8, N, 1.

        With sincere thanks,

        Noah Ternullo
