Hello there,
I am having some issues with bitmaps and Code Warrior/Constructor. My
application simply displays a bitmap and allows the user to scroll the
bitmap with the pen if the bitmap is bigger than the screen. It works fine
as long as the bitmap is not bigger than 250 by 250. Once I try to make a
bitmap bigger than that, everything falls apart. I can save the large
bitmap but if I try to open the bitmap again after this, Constructor shuts
down. When I try to compile the application, I either get the link error
#32 unknown opcode or I get a message box with the following: PalmRez Post
Linker caused exception 0xc0000005. Please terminate the IDE & report the
problem. So I am now at a loss about what to try.. I am using the 3.5 SDK
update #1 on a Windows 2000 machine. Is there an upper limit on bitmap
size? Also Constructer seems to be determined to give all my bitmaps an 8
bit depth (256 colors) even when I change it to 1 bit. I read the post from
the Metrowerks Technical support about this issue and tried his advice to no
avail. Any suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciated and save me
from ripping out all my hair. Thanks,
                Chris Gilmore
