Not really. Being able to pop the system boards don't really make
your app any more secure. Neither does using Graffiti, really.
Basically, it comes down to: Do you want your client to curse your
name repeatedly because they keep making Q's instead of O's and they
can't tell which letter they're getting wrong? If a person doesn't
want people to see what buttons they're pushing, then why not just
turn down the contrast? I'm not knocking your app, there's a reason
why Palm originally felt it was important to put a security app in
there, but usability is a pretty important thing. If you struggle
with your password long enough, someone is bound to watch your graffiti
strokes. I'm just saying that if you block Graffiti and the system
keyboard at that screen (by filtering out events) you can use an on
screen keyboard (Instead of the alternative, which basically means
hacking the system keyboard), and if you want extra keys, just use
another form. And I'll assure you, you CAN enter a "real" password
and have "real" security. =)
