why?
there is no reason for this. the Palm is not a PC. you dont shut
the machine down when you press the "power" button. it just turns
off the display and runs in a very low powered mode.
your "device" is never off technically.. need to power that RAM!
when the person *leaves* your app, then.. you should do all the
cleaning up you need.. just pressing [off] does not make the app
close down.. pressing [on] will return it to exactly where it was
before you pressed the [off].
