For the record, I suspect *no* PDB manipulating applications handle this.
The field is used in memory on the device, but is always zero in a PDB or
PRC file.

I have still never seen a PDB or PRC file in the wild that used this link
(apart from the one I artificially created in my laboratory).

We had a long thread about this back in 1998, in which Kenneth and I
determined that we had never seen such a file, and that the Pilot Desktop
of the time wouldn't handle it.  See
