The message is also available on egroups -- use whichever you find
works better. I think escribe is the lesser of two evils, myself.

Note that Fpl is not the same as Flp. Look at FloatMgr.h and
NewFloatMgr.h in various SDKs. Yes, this could have been less obtuse.
