It's funny that this is mentioned tonight, because I had a user contact me
just today to say that Cheyenne Antivirus says my application, Address+ is
infected... The odd thing is that no matter which version he has tried,
even the main distribution file I sent him directly, he's still getting this
message. I think that this is a false return. I don't believe he has
actually lost any data, or has actually seen the symptoms of the virus..
(Other apps stop working, but look normal from the launcher, etc.) Is
anyone else out there hearing anything about this?
It sounds to me like they are using some sort of digital signature
technology that thinks it can tell the virus code from normal applications,
but it looks like they actually can't, at least in my applications case.
