I've had lots of success copying a rectangle from another paint program,
then pasting that into the bitmap in Constructor.  Except for slight
touchups, I wouldn't think of doing any real work in Constructor's bitmap
editor.

Of course, you have the option of using the PilRC plugin from Neil Rhodes --
that should allow you to specify a BMP file directly.  See
