Let me second the support for ddd ( http://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/ ) as
a great addition to developing Palm apps under linux.

I do most of my developing under Linux, but find myself booting back to
Windows for gremlins runs. Even with 3.08a, gremlins support doesn't work
right for me under linux. I never get the little control window that lets
me stop, step, and resume. Could be a window manager problem, though as
no matter what I do, the first time I run POSE after rebooting, all
dialogs come up just beyond the range of my current desktop and act as if
there was an "Always on Bottom" flag set. All the following runs are
fine, though.
On another note, is anyone using the emulator under linux to set up
automated gremlins runs? I had trouble getting the emulator to load apps
and roms from the command line. I remember reading in release notes from
previous POSE versions that the unix support for that wasn't quite there
yet. I'd love to be able to have CVS kick off a build and gremlins run
every time I commit.
