Well, the Palm III and V don't have color.  The IIIc, of
course, does, and it supports 8 bit color.  The Handspring
Prism supports 16 bit color.  Make bitmap families if
you want to support the color devices, as you can have
b & w and grayscale versions, so your graphics look good
on ALL PalmOS models.

You're looking at 1, 2, or 4 bit graphics on the III and V, if
you want to run on ALL III's and the V and Vx.  You're looking
at black and white or grayscale.  The image format is typically
a bitmap, converted to a resource database on the Palm
(a .pdb resource file).
