When examining desktop pdbs backed up with hotsync, I find that the
creation and modification dates (32-bit seconds elapsed) are stored NOT
as Palm dates (from Jan 1, 1904), but rather as Unix dates (from Jan 1,
1970).
Is this a feature of the hotsync software - to translate the dates on
the fly? - or has the PalmOS actually switched to using Unix dates? I
also noticed the backup date was zero, even though hotsync had been
backing it up many times.
I think I'm using desktop software version 3.03 on windows.
