You know this but others may not, so I just thought I'd add that the the Old
serial manager will happily do "raw" SIR on PalmOS 3.0 and up, without
needing the Enhanced IR Update or anything else special. I wrote an app for
a client that sends binary data to a custom microcontroller via raw SIR,
then listens for acknowledgement. It uses the Old serial manager to be
compatible with all Palm OS 3.0 and up devices.
