There are no real drawbacks to upgrading to the 3.5 SDK, and it fixes
some bugs, etc. It's worth it especially if you are using CodeWarrior,
because it also fixes many bugs in there (constructor, etc.)
You will not have any conflicts with OS calls, unless you start using
stuff that isn't implemented in 3.1. All that is documented in the docs.
