  well.. in Palm sense.. not always :)) people refer to the ROM as
  flash RAM - which *can* be modified :P

  it is reserved, however, sometimes there is a little bit of space
  left :)) and, with the right utility, you can utilize it.. see a
  previous post (i just sent it)
