I have the same problem. How painful was it to upgrade to R7. I am in the
middle of a project and can not afford to be down.

I solved it by upgrading to R7. R7 works much better with the emulator.
Debugging speed seems to be about 5 times faster as well.

I get that too. Shut down the IDE and restart it after each debug session.
There are other fiddly ways, but this always works.
Anyone else have this problem and solved it?
