It was very easy. It actually installs itself to a different directory. You
can continue to use R6 if you want (but you need to run the regservers.bat
for each time you switch).
I am talking about the Windows version, BTW.

I solved it by upgrading to R7. R7 works much better with the emulator.
Debugging speed seems to be about 5 times faster as well.

I get that too. Shut down the IDE and restart it after each debug session.
There are other fiddly ways, but this always works.
Anyone else have this problem and solved it?
