I don't know of any examples that show this type of thing clearly.
Just read the POSE Host Control API file function documentation, and
use it within a normal Palm program.

Not really, not in any way that you might find helpful.

Yes you can. You use the Host Control file functions to read the text
files, write them to PDB files using the standard Palm Data manager
functions, and then export the resulting PDB file using POSE Export
menu command.
