Hey folks. I've been working on a bug for quite some time now with limited
results. The recreation steps are simple:

1) Delete our app using the Menu : Delete interface
2) The app will disappear from the list of db's-to-delete
3) Exit out of the 'Delete' form
4) Deleted app's icon still shows up in launcher (not yet refreshed, it
appears)
5) Click on it (or any icon). Random memory-related crash ensues

To work around this, resetting the device causes Launcher to exclude the
deleted app's icon and things no longer crash.

This behavior appears to exist, interestingly, on all pre-3.5 debug ROMs on
POSER. 3.5 dbg ROM does not exhibit the problem. In the emulator context,
Launcher doesn't hold an accuate list of DB's until you reset POSER; before
this time, tapping on any app will cause a random crash, typically a mem
crash.

I tried to reproduce this problem on my actual Palm Vx device, and when I
didn't see it, I chalked this one off as a POSER bug and moved on. Also, it
appears that ANY application on POSER will cause this problem, not just our
app.

Unfortunately, our QA dept just came back and said this bug indeed happens
on an actual Palm IIIx device with PalmOS 3.1, so I am wrong -- it's not
just a POSER bug. I'm not sure if this is a known pre-3.5 OS/launcher bug.
Can anyone provide me with some insight?

Thanks very much for your time.
