You don't need to "stop" it, just catch the event and return true without 
doing anything to "pretend" its been handled. I doubt that's the right 
thing to do in most cases, but you definitely can do it.

However this raises a different question I've been struggling with just 
today. When the system generates a frmUpdateEvent by itself, what 
updateCode does it send? Is it initialized or is it random? Is it 0 or 
something else? I'm having some problems on a development project which 
MAY relate to this.
