reading data from a text file

I have a large amount of data (about 150k) in a text file, and I need to
read it in to my pilot program, is there any way to do this or would I
have to convert it to a PDB first, can this be done?  I tried transferring i
the file to the pilot but it was rejected and I am not sure what to do, any advice 
would be appreciated.
