You can also use the great utility 'pdb' by Thomas Weiske to convert
text into a .pdb file.

It's at:  http://www.ebe-online.de/home/tweiske/sw.htm

There's also a Perl module available (Palm::PDB) at http://www.cpan.org,
but I've never used it or heard anything about it.

Subject: reading data from a text file

I have a large amount of data (about 150k) in a text file, and I need to
read it in to my pilot program, is there any way to do this or would I
have to convert it to a PDB first, can this be done? I tried
transferring i
the file to the pilot but it was rejected and I am not sure what to do,
any advice would be appreciated.

Kevin.
