My apologies if this has already been posted, but if you're a registered
developer and have access to the Emulator ROMs then you can use the 4.0
release ROM to upgrade a V and Vx to 4.0 (and possibly others but I've only
tried it on a Vx and only heard about others trying it on a V or Vx).
I successfully upgraded a Vx and everything seemed to work fine, although I
removed it later the same day because I need all the memory I can get and
4.0 takes up several hundred K more than 3.5).
