1)whats Onmisky service?
Is it an alternative to palm.net service for users of Palm V
2)i have a palm application that connects to Internet using Inetlib.
i am confused about various Configuration Aliases to be used.
As of my understanding..
1) using inetCfgNameDefault,inetCfgNameDefWireline or inetCfgNameDefWireless
would enable me to connect to Internet via Palm.net proxy servers.
Also in my case, i will be using TCP/IP to connecting to my website through
palm.net proxy server & no
wireless means of communication is required/used(as palm v does not have an
antenna).
2) with this configuration, whats the type of modem i should be using with
my
palm V device?
3)do i need to have an account with palm.net for using this type of
configuration ? (As i was told by some people)
4)or should i go for Omnisky service ?
5)i have tested my application on the POSE & its OK
i want to know how would i test it on the actual device ?
6)Now i have this application which uses Inetlib & an ISP account
i want to know what r the options for connecting my device to the Internet
I am also interested to know, what specific settings r required in the Pref
before i run my application on the device ?
any input in this regard would be very much appreciated as always,
