You're following the right sort of approach with your conduit, BTW, and
writing to the Memo database is pretty easy. The tricky bits with
conduits is always the sync logic.

If you're interested in accessing databases directly from the Palm
(using a modem, or the HotSync cable as a serial connector, say) then
you might also be interested in the stuff at
http://www.astawireless.com  I've tried out their demo and it works very
well, even over a 9600 baud mobile phone connection. And you can buy it
now if you want :-)

However, doing that is not the same thing as a HotSync. They are
completely separate processes. You may want both, even.
