Perhaps if you could give us a few more details on what triggers the
exception we might be able to offer some suggestions.
To figure out if it's an interaction with another application, we
always ask users that report those kinds of things to do a hard
reset, wipe out everything, install just our application, and see if
they can recreate the problem. For less-technical users, this doesn't
work too well, but the more savvy users are usually happy to give
this a try.
Also, do you do extensive testing on real hardware _and_ POSE? I just
ran across a case of one of our applications that worked great on the
4.0 ROMs, but not on a real device. As a result of that, we went out
and got 3.1, palm VII, and 4.0 hardware for real testing. We would
have done it sooner, but the # of problems related to OS version
differences wasn't too much of a problem until recently.
