I assume this is because they want to know what software is running on their
machines, not just what they need to buy.
The two items you mention are good (although you might get some debate about
Codewarrior vs other development platforms.. but I don't want to start that
war). In addition, if you will be doing any Conduit work, you will need the
CDK (from Palm) and something to compile it with (I've always used Visual
C++, but I think there are other options). As for other tools, the only one
that comes immediately to mind is PAR. I find it invaluable for "taking a
peek" inside a database to make sure everything is looking correct.
