How to create the .pdb file

Hi folks,
   I want to create  a.pdb file i ve created the databse and
i ve used the DmSetDatabaseInfo to set the dmHdrAttrBackup flag.But whenveer
i do a hotsync i dont get the .pdb file on the PC.Am i supposed to do
anything besides this....
