>Best I can tell, what your source told you is correct. If you didn't

I don't recommend using the Palm OS as a learning platform for C.
Oh sorry maybe I should go into some more detail. I am using NS Basic as my
development system. NS Basic can use the C shared libraries and functions,
etc available from the Palm OS and so that's why I am looking into how to
use the Alarm functions.

Ok so what my source told me is correct, cool. Right well my main decision
now, I suppose, is whether to use AlmSetAlarm or AlmSetProcAlarm.
AlmSetAlarm will power up the Palm at the alarm time right? But it cant do
anything too big afterwards in case it blocks other alarms. Now I have read
this a number of times and have one query. I don't think this applies to me
as my application will only involve one alarm. So does that mean that I can
use AlmSetAlarm and then call a function when the alarm goes? Of course I
can do that with AlmSetProcAlarm but that is used mainly as a background
thing isnt it, so it wouldn't turn on the palm again (not a major issue).
Could anyone just clarify that for me please?

Thanks a lot for your reply
