Hey there guys... I want a program that acts exactly like Memo
Pad. In fact, I want it to share the memo database with Memo Pad.
I want this program to be Memo Pad with two additional features:
new dropdown menus that will paste strings into the text at the
cursor point (i.e., if you selected "Hi there!" from a dropdown menu,
it would add "Hi there!" to the text) and a row of buttons at the
bottom that add single characters, just like the keyboard. The only
changes will be in the editing window.
What is the easiest way to go about doing this? Can I simply tap
into Memo Pad's functions to save space and time, then add a
different frame for the editing window? As I said before I want it to
use the same database.
I'm kind of a newbie at this so any help would be appreciated :)
