Detailed info needed on all below:
----------------------------------

Problem: Kyocera phones displaying my bitmap as reversed. Black as
white and white as black. This is not a backlight problem. I don't
actually have a phone to test this on.

This is a followup to my problem with a Kyocera displaying my bitmap in
reverse color (black as white, etc).

I have determined that the Kyocera is loading the 4 bit grayscale, upon
startup. I seem to remember seeing something somewhere that indicated
that bitmap values were reversed for some version, bitmap depth, or
something.

Does anyone recognize what I am referring to. It was something like, if
you want to display a black area, you had to make it white in the
bitmap, on the PC when you created the bitmap, or something like that.

Does this sound familar to anyone? If it does, does this apply to all
SDK OS versions? All devices?

I mean, if I make this reversal so that the image displays properly on
the Kyocera, will it likely mess up other devices or should all devices
behave the same? So, far only the Kyocera shows this problem.

Related: Is it possible to make the Emulator behave like particular
devices OR does it simply operate only one way for a particular OS? I
mean, if a Kyocera behaves one way for OS x.0 and a Palm IIIx behaves a
different way for OS x.0, can the Emulator be set to operate differently
for specific devices?

Does this apply to 2 bit bitmaps also?

Thanks
