True, cannot do this w/o adding external hardware. I was trying to
find serial port multiplexers and i couldnot. The option i was
considering was to find a microcontroller with more than one serial
port and then program it to switch between the serial ports of that
controller but life would be much easier if i could find commercially
available serial port multiplexers.
