Sure. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Borland C uses a datum of 1970. If 
you want to stick to 32 bits for the time stamp, then you are limited to 
135 years or so. The trick then is to decide how much past/present 
capability your users need for historical databases versus how long you 
think your OS will be around. Otherwise make a 64 bit time stamp and be 
done with it!!
