I would love to support and contribute. But I'm happy with vanilla PilRC
and before I suggested this as a good solution for my co-workers, I wanted
to see if there were any known reasons why this tool was no longer viable.

I agree. But I'm collaborating, and not everyone is as enamored with
command line tools as I am.
