In trying to debug my Palm app I'm seeing strange stuff in the
debugger. The values shown for local variables are sometimes wrong.
(As evidenced by single stepping through "if" statements when the
"else" statements should have been executed according to the
display.) I've resorted to debugging in assembly and checking the
values of registers and memory locations to figure out what the real
values are, but this is very time consuming.

I've also seen the values of things change when no code should have
affected them. (and register coloring is off.)

Anyone have any suggestions? This is a fairly huge multi-segment app
weighing in at about 450K, but all the segments are < 64K and link
and load just fine. In fact, it executes just fine, I just can't
trust the readout of values anymore.

Stats:
MacOS 9.1 on G4/400 and PowerBook G4/500 (and yes, I've seen it on
Windows 98 too)

POSE 3.2 (running mostly Palm Vx OS3.5 non-debug rom set at 8Meg)
POSE has 5.6 Meg allocated (doe! I'll be sure to try bumping that)

CW r7 (NOT merged with CW Pro 6 or anything else)

Palm OS SDK 4.0
